Why Full grain

leather?

Full-grain

[ fool-greyn ]

_adjective_

  1. (of leather) having the original grain surface intact.

Full-grain leather refers to the topmost part of the hide. Not only is it the strongest and most durable part but it’s also (in our opinion) the most beautiful part as it develops a unique patina over time.

This type of leather retains all the marks and scars from the animal and is seen as character since it tells the story and adventures it had throughout its life. We regard these scars as beauty marks as they make each full grain leather item just as unique as oneself.

This leather isn’t regarded as the highest quality leather for nothing, if looked after properly this leather will easily outlive you and can be handed to your children one day.
